Lisa Moore

Lisa Moore was co-opted to the WDBS Board of Directors in April 2021.

Lisa’s background is in administration having worked for magazine distribution and advertising companies in London for a number of years before moving to the south coast.  Wishing to go back into full time education Lisa completed an Access Course in Humanities at Eastbourne College and then gained a place at the University of Sussex where she obtained a BA honours degree in 2007.

After leaving university Lisa started working in human resources for the NHS and completed the CIPD diploma in employee relations and recruitment which led to her running the local general hospital’s recruitment and training programme for locally employed doctors.

In December 2020 Lisa was promoted to Medical Education Manager where she line manages a team which coordinates the recruitment, education and inductions for all of the Trusts junior doctors together with supporting year 2 medical students.  The team works closely with consultants, senior management, Southampton University and Health Education England to ensure that the educational needs are met for all doctors while offering both careers advice and pastoral care.

Wife to current WDBS player David Moore, Lisa provided extensive support to the on-site events team prior to joining the Board and is excited to be able to contribute to the continued growth of the organisation as a director.
