Simon Berrisford is a long-time supporter of World Disability Billiards and Snooker and was first co-opted to the Board of Directors in February 2018.
Having qualified as a WPBSA Snooker Coach in 2016, Simon subsequently provided his services during Friday open days held at WDBS events at various venues, before subsequently joining the team.
In 2019 Simon was appointed to the Board of the English Partnership for Snooker and Billiards and has since played a significant role in the organisation of amateur competition in England, including the 100th staging of the English Amateur Championship in February 2020.
Away from snooker, for over 20 years Simon has been heavily involved in the mobile phone industry and is currently the owner of a number of successful businesses including J&S Trading and 888lcd.co.uk. Through these companies, since early 2017 Simon has been able to provide significant sponsorship for WDBS events, including both as an event title sponsor as a supporting sponsor.
Simon has also previously worked at Manchester United, offering IT support to a range of departments within the football club.
