Profile 7

A wheelchair user with good use in one arm, may use a power wheelchair or manual wheelchair.

Profile Group: G1 & G2

Please note: A player classified as Profile 7 is assigned to Group 1 providing the player cannot make a bridge with their leading hand. Alternatively if a bridge can be made with their leading hand then the player will be assigned to Group 2.

Functional Description: A wheelchair user.

Medical Description: Three limbs affected. Unable to walk or participate in sport standing.

  • Good use of only one arm.
  • May require an electric power chair if unable to propel an adapted manual chair.
  • May need assistance to perform activities for daily living (ADL).

Severe weakness, spasticity athetosis, deformity or absence in one limb May or may not be affected Severe weakness, spasticity athetosis, deformity or absence in both limbs
Medical diagnoses (example):Participation:
Cerebral Palsy. Deformity/absence of three limbs.
