The Irish Disability Snooker Open will return to Snooker & Billiards Ireland (SBI) HQ in Carlow, Ireland on 20-22 November 2026.

Staged annually since 2023, the event has quickly become one of the most popular occasions on the calendar with a record of 48 players competing in 2025 as host nation cueists Daniel Kelly and Dylan Rees were among those to secure gold medals.

As announced in February, SBI has successfully secured additional funding for the next three years to ensure that the Irish Open will remain a fixture on the global WDBS ranking circuit.

Dylan Rees, SBI Vice Chairman, said: “The upcoming Irish Disability Snooker Open in Carlow  is another fantastic opportunity to showcase everything that makes this event so special. It is wonderful to see the tournament continue to grow, bringing together talented players from around the world to compete at the highest level.

“Competitors can look forward to experiencing some of the very best snooker facilities, combined with the warm Irish welcome that makes every visitor feel at home. The event is not only a celebration of sporting excellence but also of inclusion, friendship, and the shared passion for the game. We look forward to welcoming everyone for what promises to be another unforgettable Irish Open.”

The Irish Open is the second confirmed ranking event of the 2026/27 campaign, following the announcement of the third staging of the European Championship in September, with information on further events to follow.

Further information including entry details will be announced in due course.
