Bio

Andy Lam is a former WDBS ranking event winner and bronze medalist at the 2023 World Abilitysport Games.

The Hong Kong China star competes in the Group 3 classification and made his debut at the 2018 Open Disability Championship.

A year later, he earned his first title at the 2019 Humber Classic, defeating Nigel Coton 3-1 in the final, and would reach his second career final at the Irish Open in 2023.

Lam represented his country at the 2023 World Abilitysport Games in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand, where snooker was appearing for the first time, and he secured a podium place by defeating Kaisorn Thongla 3-1 in the bronze medal match.

In January 2024, Lam was appointed by WDBS as an official ambassador for Hong Kong China in a role that will see him support the further growth and development of disability snooker in the country.
