Bio

Aslam Abubaker has been a regular competitor on the WDBS Tour since 2017 and has won three titles to date.

Perhaps his biggest win came at the 2019 Champion of Champions, where he defeated Shahab Siddiqui 9-4 to lift the Nick Oliver Trophy for the Groups 1-2 competition.

He had previously tasted success at the 2018 Open Disability Snooker Championship and 2019 Humber Classic tournaments, enough to see him installed in second place following the introduction of the WDBS rankings in 2020.

In 2018, he notably reached the final of the Welsh Open – a tournament open to players from all classification groups – ending the title defence of reigning champion Daniel Blunn along the way, before losing out to Daniel Lee.
