Bio

Gary Taylor is one of the world’s top ranked deaf snooker players and a four-time event winner on the WDBS tour.

The Englishman made his WDBS debut at the 2019 UK Disability Championship and won his first title three years later at the 2022 Stockport Open, where he defeated David Grant 3-1 in the final.

He has won at least one ranking event title from 2022-2024 and lifted the prestigious Champion of Champions crown for the first time in his career with a stunning 6-0 win against Lewis Knowles.

Taylor, who was born deaf, began playing snooker at the age of 7 after inheriting a cue from his grandfather and has twice reached the summit of the world rankings in Group 8.
