Kurt Deklerck is the most successful Belgian wheelchair player of all-time and in 2018 captured his maiden WDBS title at the Belgian Open in Bruges.
He has since returned to compete at the tournament on two occasions, losing out to England’s Tony Southern in the 2019 final, before being edged out by Shahab Siddiqui in the semi-finals a year later.
