Bio

Kurt Deklerck is Belgium’s most successful wheelchair snooker player with two WDBS ranking event titles to his name.

The Group 1 player made a stunning debut on the WDBS tour by winning the 2018 Belgian Open title on home soil with a 3-1 victory over Tony Southern in the title match.

Deklerck, who won his 28th consecutive Belgian national wheelchair title in 2024, has continued to show fine form in his home event – reaching four of the last five finals in Bruges and winning the title once again in 2023 at The Trickshot Club.

Outside of his home country, Deklerck was also part of snooker’s inaugural appearance at the World Abilitysport Games in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand in December 2023 and secured a silver medal for his country.
