Mahomed Abubaker is the most successful WDBS player from India of all-time and one of only two players from outside Europe to have claimed multiple ranking event titles on the tour.
Since making his debut at the 2017 Open Disability Championship, Abubaker has won four WDBS events as well as notably reaching the final of the 2018 Welsh Open – an open competition where cueists from all classification groups compete together.
A former world number two, Abubaker’s greatest success to date came at the 2019 Champion of Champions, where he comfortably defeated Shahab Siddiqui 9-4 to claim the prestigious title for the first time.
