Bio

Matthew Haslam is a multiple ranking event winner and one of the brightest young talents on the WDBS tour.

As a teenager Haslam impressed by rising to  second place in the Group 6B world rankings and winning four ranking event titles on the WDBS tour.

Haslam made his debut at the 2019 Welsh Open and reached his first final two years later at the 2021 Stockport Open, when he was still only 16-years-old.

His first title arrived at the 2023 British Open, when he overcame James Hart 3-0 in the final, and has since gone on to add three further titles to his CV – including back-to-back Hull Open crowns in 2023 and 2024.

Away from WDBS, Haslam also regularly competes in English national events organised by the EPSB and reached the last 16 of the English Under-21 Championship in 2024, as well being selected for the EPSB Junior Elite Performance Programme for the 2023/24 season.
