World Disability Billiards & Snooker (WDBS) hosted a snooker taster session for athletes at the 2026 World Abilitysport Guttman Games in Finland earlier this week.

The session was staged on Tuesday (18 August) and saw athletes from sports including Inclusive Skating, Para Dance Sport, Para Laser Run and Standing Tennis playing snooker under the guidance of WDBS players who provided coaching and encouragement.

Disability snooker is featuring in a World Abilitysport multi-sport games for the second time this week as 32 players from 13 nations compete across five classification groups at the Guttman Games.

The event concludes on Thursday 20 August when the gold, silver and bronze medalists will be crowned in Finland.
